
Admissions - Oklahoma Health Academy
Admissions Requirements
Enrollment is open to all men and women past the age of compulsory education. The school considers the following in evaluating applications:
- Graduation from an approved high school program.
- Successful completion of GED (Certificate of Equivalency).
- Applicants without a high school diploma or GED are required to take a Department of Education approved evaluation to determine ability to benefit.
- Determination of purpose and attitude conducive to success.
- The Medical Office Administrative Specialist program requires a high school diploma or a GED.
Enrollment Procedures
Each applicant for admission will be accepted after completing the following:
- Tour of the facility and interview with an admissions representative.
- Complete an application for admission.
- Remit a $100 registration fee to confirm enrollment.
- Meet admission requirements as outlined above.
Each candidate for admission is considered without regard to race, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability. Oklahoma Health Academy complies with the provision of Title IV of the Civil Rights Acts of 1964 and 1974 and the Rehabilitation Act of 1973.
Medical Office Administrative Specialist
In addition to the above enrollment procedures requirements, the candidate must also meet the specific requirements for the Medical Office Administrative Specialist Program:
- Must have a high school diploma or GED.
- Must successfully pass the pre-admission exam.
